G-20 Countries Expenditure Analysis




This page shows the expenditure situation and analysis of ten countries from Group of 20. The analysis of the project to select the group of seven of the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Japan, the brics countries China, India, and the seven important economies in ten countries such as Australia, Mexico, South Korea, in view of the GDP, Education, Healthcare and Military such four aspects to do data visualization and the study of the relationship.

Background of the G-20

The group of 20 (G20) was initiated by the g7 finance ministers' meeting in 1999, initially as a mechanism for meeting finance ministers and central bank governors. In November 2008, when the international financial crisis broke out, the first leaders' summit was held in Washington. The Pittsburgh summit in September 2009 identified the G20 as the premier forum for international economic cooperation.

Made up of China, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.

Population in 2016






Population is one of the most important factors influencing the economic regulation of the whole country. It is clear that China and India, the most populous countries, will be significantly different in terms of government spending because of their population differences from countries such as the americas and Europe.

So where does government spending go? There are three main categories: Education, Healthcare and Military. "Others" mean GDP minus the categories above. In all three categories, we can see from the pie chart that healthcare expenditure accounts for more than half. It can be seen that healthcare occupies an absolutely dominant position in human society.
